1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to The Record Station ("we," "our," "us," or "Platform"). By creating an account, you strictly agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. User Liability (100%)

• You own 100% of worldwide rights or have necessary licenses.
• Content does not infringe on third-party copyrights.
• YOU are solely responsible for royalties, producer fees, and publishing. The Record Station assumes ZERO liability.

3. Royalties & Payouts

• Minimum payout threshold: $100 USD.
• First payout typically 3-4 months after content revenue.
• Processed on or around the 15th of the month.
• We reserve the right to delay payouts without penalty.

4. Infringement & Fraud

Zero-tolerance policy. We reserve the right to immediately freeze and withhold funds indefinitely if we suspect fraud, artificial streaming, or copyright infringement.

At The Record Station, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal information is handled safely.

2. Information We Collect

• Personal ID: Name, email, physical address, ID for tax/payouts.
• Financial: Bank account or PayPal details for royalties.
• Metadata: Audio files, cover art, ISRCs, UPCs.
• DSPs/OAuth: Access tokens for publishing on YouTube, Spotify, etc.

3. How We Share Data

• We DO NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
• DSPs: For distribution (Spotify, Apple, YouTube, Meta).
• Providers: Cloud storage (AWS, Cloudflare), database, payment processors.
• Authorities: If required by law or to protect our rights.

4. YouTube API Services

By connecting to YouTube, you agree to the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke access at Google Security Settings.

1. Subscription Refunds

Users are eligible for a refund on paid plan fees within 14 days of the initial purchase. Note that the refunded amount will be subject to deductions for bank transfer fees and any other applicable administrative costs.

2. Account Closure & Royalties

If a user chooses to terminate their account and take down their content, any balance under $100 USD will not be paid out immediately. However, if the content remains active and the balance reaches the $100 threshold in subsequent months, the funds will be automatically remitted during the next payout cycle.
